Community Service
Judge Yarbrough considers community service a civic duty. Among his many contributions and commitments are the Frisco Rotary Club (past International Service Director and Rotarian Advisor to the Club), Leadership Frisco trainer, the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, the Metroplex Marine Corps Coordinating Council, the Frisco Bar Association (past director), Republican Veterans of Texas (Charter Member ), Sons of the American Revolution - McKinney Chapter (past president), the Frisco Republican Men's Club (Charter Member), Collin County Republican Men's Club (past vice-president), McKinney Boyd High School Football Boosters (past president), GOP/Charity Golf Tournament Committeeman, and Rogers Elementary School Site Committee (Frisco ISD). He also enjoyed coaching youth sports in McKinney for many years.
Community and Family Involvement
Married for 25 years, Mike and Nancy, a nurse for McKinney ISD, have 2 children. Their daughter Tanya is a Kindergarten teacher in Frisco ISD. She and her husband Truman have a son, Liam. Mike and Nancy's son, Travis is a Junior at the University of North Texas.
